Indian Bridal Facial Mask

We all want glowing skin no matter the time of year or ocassion, so this mask is not only for the lovely brides out there, but also for us ladies who want fresh glowing skin!

This mask is actually what we make in Indian weddings! The bride and groom, get rubbed from top to bottom with this mask, to get that glowing fresh look!

The recipe:
1 cup of chickpea flour or plain flour
3 tablespoons of turmeric (powder form)
Almond oil ( now you need enough to form a paste)

Step by step:
Mix all the ingredients together till you get a paste, it should not be too thick or thin.. Im sure you will know when it is right!

Apply to the face, neck and chest, then let is sit there for around 5 minutes. Then wash with luke warm water in circular motion, it will add to the exfoliating part and pat towel dry!

This will give you fresh glowing skin! Its not too harsh for your skin either!

How to get Glowing skin

There are many ways to get glowing skin, but this is one way i love! It is the coconut exfoliant scrub!

Ingredients required:
1/2 cup of ground rice
1/2 cup of coconut milk
1 tablespoon of turmeric
1/2 cup of fresh grated coconut

Steps to do:

Mix all the ingredients together to form a thick scrub
Once mixed, using circular scrubbing motions, apply the mixture all over your body!
Rinse off with water!


The smell of coconut mmm just so yummmy! This will remove dead skin cells and leave you feeling fresh and glowing!

How to get rid of Puffy Eyes

Having puffy eyes is not an attractive look, but unfortunately for a lot of us beauties out there, we have to put up with them!

Puffy eyes are caused by many things like:
Crying
Lack of sleep
Hay Fever
Sinus
Allergic reaction
Age

Now here is something you can do at home, cheap and cheerful!

Buy yourself some Rose Water, you can get this from any super market or asian grocery store. Price: £0.70-£1.50

Soak 2 cotton pads in the Rose Water, lay back and apply to each eye. Leave the pads there for 5- 10 minutes.

Repeat this every day, and you will see a difference! No tablets required or surgery!

Home Peach Facial

We all want to look and feel good, but at times going to a salon to get our facials done is too much!

Here is a quick home facial that everyone can do, the best part is you only need ONE thing! A peach!

Method:
Get one fresh peach and cut a slice out. Rub the slice all over the face and let the juice sit for around 20 minutes!

* Best to do this layed down*

Once it has been on your beautiful face for 20 minutes, rinse it all off with luke warm water and pat dry

Ta-da! You're done!


Now here are the benefits!
Peaches contain vitamins A & C, so it is really good for nourishing new skin cells, as well as removing deal skin cells!
It also unclogs pores
Lightens blemishes
Reduces wrinkles
Keeps your skin feeling firm and looking fresh!

Lip Scrub - Home made

We all want soft lips, no matter what time of year it is! The best part is, we can make it at home for nothing! ( okay i lie, you need to buy the ingredients! )

All you need:
 1tbs Olive Oil
1tbs Honey
2tbs Caster Sugar


Mix all 3 together and start rubbing it on your lips! If you're still unsure on what to do, watch this and it will explain!
